webpage repeatedly repainting

I’ve read some article that says their pages are repeatedly repainting. But they aren’t providing any codes of their web page so I was wondering what could that error be and how it is being done or how those things happen and how to prevent it. Please, if somebody can provide me information about a web page repeatedly repainting will be greatly appreciated.

I was looking for some other jobs over the internet when I saw something like "you should know what causes a webpage to repeatedly repaint and how to prevent it" then due to curiosity I started researching. Luckily I saw some that tells how to prevent it like inserting something on the meta of the page. I read also something like "a grid in a grid" etc etc but they aren't providing any sample codes so I can't make a testing of how and why a repeatedly repainting happens. I want to see it myself instead of just knowing how to prevent it. If somebody else out there knows it please provide me some clue. This repeatedly repainting might be a troublesome for me in the future of my web development so I won't take it easy just because I still not experiencing it. Thanks guys..Thanks fang for the reply. @Declan1991Sep 04.2010 — #Are you having a problem? If so, say what the problem is. But pages don't randomly repaint, they only repaint when something changes or could change. However, CSS expressions will cause a huge amount of page repainting.

Try to check that out. View the details of the Front end developer. Under their qualifications you can read that there's something there read as "You know what causes a browser to repeatedly re-paint, and you know how to avoid it." thing. That's what I'm talking about. I just want any idea at least what is it. I've made lots of research already over the internet but can't find any answers.
