Delay between scripts

Hi,

I am very new to javascript so please bear with me. I have searched the forum for my problem and most likely I could have used some of the solutions, but me being green at this point I would struggle to implement the knowledge.

I am using dynamicdrive’s fading image script on my site:

I have 4 no slideshows on this site and calling each of them with these div’s:
<div id=”fadeshow1″></div>
<div id=”fadeshow2″></div>
<div id=”fadeshow3″></div>
<div id=”fadeshow4″></div>

Everything works just great but what I am trying to achieve is that image would change every 2 seconds but on the following slideshow. So if I set slideshow delay for all shows to 8 seconds and delay each show by 2 seconds more than the previous one I would achieve this effect:
<div id=”fadeshow1″></div> runs at start
<div id=”fadeshow2″></div> start +2 seconds
<div id=”fadeshow3″></div> start +4 seconds
<div id=”fadeshow4″></div> start + 6 seconds
