Can't do it...per se, of course...with php. To affect the user's browser specifically you need to use client side code, not server side.
That's not to say that you couldn't use PHP to print some Javascript to a browser window as the file is being parsed (that is the per se part of the statement above).
What are you trying to accomplish (in more detail)?

I figured...after I thought more about it...excuse me but I'm kind of new to PHP..
I'm experimenting with this new Facebook app that adds a comment page to your site and extracts FB info from anyone who logs in....it's pretty cool...
It's just that I need to work out the kinks...like closing the login window and reloading the parent page after someone logs in successfully.
You would have to kind of dive in to the code they provide in order to assist me...
but yeah, you're right I do have a magic trick up my sleeve and I'm testing it right now...thanks bud...
if you want to look at the code and are familiar with object oriented programming (which I'm not that familiar with)..I can post it...in the meantime thanks..
