Need help: Alternating Images

Hello, firstly, thanks for viewing ?

This will be my first post, of hopefully many to come.

Basicly im a noob at coding JS ?, i’ve never really learnt much about it and would finally like to get to grips with it. I’ve done some research and know a bit of the basics, a background of basic php also helps.
I have been set the challenge of creating an alternating image display that will take images from a link and eventually display them in 3 different sizes, looping through each image. It’s hard to make sense of this so heres a link of what im looking to create using JS:

What i would like to ask is directions on how i’d go about doing this? Maybe a few examples and links would be useful. I have to state that i’d like to do this myself and am not asking for anyone to do this for me, I’d just like a hand :rolleyes: .
This is a big challenge for me, probably not so much for you guys though so i’d hope for some good feedback ?
