Driving Distance V3 API

Hi there,

I’ve used [URL=”http://briancray.com/2009/06/23/calculate-driving-distance-google-maps-api/”]Brian Crays[/URL] driving distance calculator on a site, however the calculations are not accurate for full addresses.

I realise the v2 google maps api is now depreciated, my question is, if I upgrade to v3, is there more accurate calculations of distance and if so, does anyone have an example of calculating the distance between two points with the new api?

or does anyone know how to get more accurate results with his code?

this is pretty urgent so any helo would be appreciated.

There are 2 methods of the geocoder.

Enter longitude & latitude or enter address.

I found that entering address is difficult because it needs exact formatting.

If I were to work on this, I would use click points on the map to get the start and end

configured with the passed long & lats and also making markers.
