Read picture dir and store pics to Mysql

Good day to you all,
I was looking into makeing a database of all my image and I was wondering if there is a way to read a recursive directory and store it into the database.

I don’t have a clue on how, even if I have search the web for a while.

Here the recursive function with level wise display of file is better examplified.

If you practice these flow as shown on the above link, for more than once, you will not find difficulty to do so on your own.

@HolmesSPHMay 28.2010 — Just a suggestion... Don't store pics as BLOBS in MySQL.. It'll work but you'll hate your self for it later...

Depending on how many you have, you should check using Amazon S3, or any of the other 5 million CDN companies out there.. RackSpace has a nice product too.

I've tried using MySQL, and hosting right now of a directory, but nothign beats having them on CDN
