This is a simple CD Selector script
Pick’s a CD full of mps’ or songs for an audio CD

Current version Made by ::: Batfink ::: based on a problem I posted in another JavaScript forum
It uses a CSV file as a database and makes selections from the database then prints or e-mails the resultant selections
The project is almost complete but I have seemed to have hit a roadblock the original database is 2.5MB and the program works fine with files up to 100k but craps out on me for files above that margin (original database file included)
Could any optimize this script or suggest a faster way to do this
Also including a CSV to html table scrip that seems to work blazingly fast with the same file independently but when incorporated in the solution slows down
I know JavaScript is a slow language and has other issues too
But Plz help me to get this to work unless u can program this in VB or VCC 4 me
Also a couple of things have to be added
1) The scrip can’t access database file via a relative path it demands an absolute path this is not acceptable as the finished solution must work anywhere ( You will have to edit path to get scrip to work at ur place )
2) The progress bar currently is linked to the selection of an audio CD i.e. it calculates based on time (80min)
The progress bar must optionally linked to selecting files based size or in other words make a data CD (700M?
3) the first field is a “Filename with full path” this field must be hidden from view (using CSS style inv right now) but when emailed selection this field must be included because it is the only unique feild and way to distinguished the resultant data.
Plz help me out here
