table size problem

Hi I am having a problem with table size in php
I have this code:

echo ‘<table cols=”1″ border=”2″ cellspacing=”0″ align=”center” width=”100%” height=0%>’;

I want to reduce the height but i can’t.I have tried everything but i can’t reduce it.It remains normal every time.Do you know what should i modify in order to reduce it?

@NogDogMay 11.2010 — The HTML "table" element does not have a "height" attribute. Depending on exactly what you want to do, you probably need to address it via CSS, whether we're talking actual height, or margins, or whatever. In any case, it does not appear to be a PHP issue.
