Working in the cloud

I hope you’re all well.

I’m the MD of a web development agency, and I wanted to drop a post on here in the hope of gathering your feedback on a new development system we’re testing called ‘Cloud Consultancy’.

You can find the basic premise and initial proposal for the system here: [url]http://www.deegconsultancy.co.uk/cloud[/url], but essentially we’re inviting all coders and designers to apply to join a developer ‘cloud’ which can be utilised for projects of varying scale and complication, based on their unique skill base.

We’ve been doing some initial promotion and feedback-gathering for while now, and we already have a number of .NET developers signed up and working on projects. However, one thing we’ve noticed is that we’re not seeing a similar pick-up in PHP developer applications, which is causing us a few headaches due to the number of PHP projects we’ve got queued up.

As our target demographic of PHP developers, any feedback that you can give us on the suitability of the model for PHP development would be greatly appreciated, and any suggestions for improvements would be gladly taken on board.
