Saving and Opening a JavaServer Page

I'm not aware of any special hack to do that but basically JSP and PHP work in similar manner. The conditional, iteration tags are all processed at the server end FIRST before the final result is sent out to the client browser.

So if you are a client, when the page appear on your browser, all the JSP tags are already gone.

Just remember JSP and PHP are server side languages unlike JavaScript which is a client side language and this give you the means to view the source code.
