convert format from yyyy-mm-dd into mm/dd/yyyy using script

Hi,
I am trying convert format from yyy-mm-dd into mm/dd/yyyy using script

ar dateString = ‘2003-10-10’;
var today =new Date(dateString);
var dd = today.getDate();
var mm = today.getMonth()+1;//January is 0!
var yyyy = today.getFullYear();
if(dd<10){dd=’0’+dd}
if(mm<10){mm=’0’+mm}
onload = function(){

alert(‘Today is ‘+mm+’/’+dd+’/’+yyyy)

}

Can you please correct this script?

ar dateString = '2003-10-10';

To:

var dateString = '2003,10,10';

OR with both these lines:

var dateString = '2003-10-10';

dateString = dateString.replace(/-/g,',');
