layout breaking up while page loading

Hi all i recently built a simple site for a client that uses alot of slices and table layout, i know its not the best way to build a site but the client wanted a graphical layout.

My problem is as im testing it in IE8, frequently when i hit a link to a page while it is loading the layout would break up temporarily, while it loads. Which is quite ugly to see.

My question is is there anyway to stop this from happening? It doesn’t happen really in FF, and i have validated my HTML with W3C…
