Streaming video over the internet

i have set up security cameras in and around my house, i was wondering what i would have to do to run all these cameras into my computer, and stream them over an internet site that i could log into at any remote location to look at what is going on at my house. Thank you very much for each and every response

@PeOfEoDec 03.2003 — How are you going to get them into your computer? USB? But anyways once you manage to get them all into your machine you are going to want to configure your router and open up a port so you can run your computer as a media stream server. There are some options on what to use. Real media has one I believe and there is another one that does on demand streaming.

@DaveSWDec 03.2003 — Could be usb, but it's more likely to be a video capture card. Since he used the plural cameras, it's probably a pc cctv card. I could be wrong in that tho.

That makes life more difficult. I believe there are sites offering free/cheap methods to get webcams online, but not cctv.
