[RESOLVED] Header & Footer Issues in Chrome & Safari

In Internet Explorer and Firefox, the “meat and potatoes” of my header and footers are 1000px and centered. The header goes 100% width of the screen, but all the good stuff is contained in the centered 1000px.

I tried checking the site using Google Chrome and Safari. In both browsers the header was 100% of the width but it was the “meat and potatoes” at the 100% too.

I’m thinking that there might be something that I’m doing wrong that IE and FF ignores or “understands” but chrome and safari don’t like it. I validated the code and not seeing any errors.

Any ideas go a long way,
Thanks
