Lytebox has stopped working for me.

I’m new to both coding and this forum.

I’ve created a test site which shows the problems I’m having getting my images to display properly using lytebox. I’m running lytebox rather than lightbox as it’s better at handling iFrames. I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out – I had it working initially yesterday, then suddenly, for no reason that I can see as I changed nothing, it stopped working entirely. It should be so straight forward yet it clearly isn’t working. Even after creating this test site I get nothing. Perhaps a fresh pair of eyes will see what I’m unable to. Any advice would be really appreciated.

@FangMar 13.2010 — Read the Lytebox "How To Use"
If you plan to use Lytebox in an iFrame environment, then you need to include lytebox.css in the parent document, while including lytebox.js in the iFrame document.
and use rel="lyteframe"<a href="photos/sculpture.jpg" rel="lytebox" title="">

You have both documents in the frame and inside a style elementdiv.Section1
{page:Section1;}
-->
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="lytebox.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="lytebox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
</style>

@Simon__UK_authorMar 13.2010 — Thanks for getting back to me.

The thing is I had it working yesterday with rel="lytebox" rather than lyteframe, but when I change it to lyteframe it doesn't see the photo and places an error at the bottom of the page. I removed the style element but it still doesn't work. I'm new to all this can you explain in layman's terms what I need to change?

I used lyteframe and it works perfectly.

@Simon__UK_authorMar 13.2010 — I have the lytebox.css in the test (parent) document. It's in the same place as the index.html.

@Simon__UK_authorMar 13.2010 — Can you take another look at my site - after moving the script to just below the 'head' tag it doesn't even show the photo now.

@FangMar 13.2010 — The the css document has not been included correctly; path incorrect or not on the server.

@Simon__UK_authorMar 13.2010 — I'm not sure I understand you. The lytebox.css document is definitely on the server in the parent folder.

Here's a screenshot from my ftp client. I'm not sure how to embed a photo on this forum.

@FangMar 13.2010 — You now have both documents in the frame (one.htm)<head>
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="lytebox.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="lytebox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
<style>
<style>
<!--
/* Style Definitions */
p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal

@Simon__UK_authorMar 13.2010 — I have both documents in the frame? I don't get it. I added that script to one.htm as it says to do in the lytebox instructions. I don't see what you're getting at. What do I have to do to rectify this?
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@FangMar 13.2010 — This in index: <link rel="stylesheet" href="lytebox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />

This in one.htm: <script type="text/javascript" src="lytebox.js"></script>

Make sure the paths to the Lytebox documents are correct

@Simon__UK_authorMar 13.2010 — Placing each line of that script into index and one.htm accordingly has changed things - the webpage style has disappeared though leaving just the frame on a blank page. The lytebox animation works but doesn't show an image. The lytebox designer's instructions don't say to place each bit of code separately, and yesterday, I definitely had it working where both the lines of script were in one.htm and still had the webpage style - this is so confusing.

Is the link to the larger image using the correct path?
Copy linkTweet thisAlerts:
@Simon__UK_authorMar 13.2010 — OK my mistake. I though they were referring to the files (lytebox.css & lytebox.js) only. So, why am I still not seeing the photo?

@Simon__UK_authorMar 13.2010 — Replaced the short link with a full URL path and it works now!

Thank you so much Fang - I couldn't have done it without you.
