Please suggest (need to remove js files from WordPress Theme)

Hi,

I have a WordPress Blog and I recently changed my theme to a new one. Just after my theme change, I found that there is about 10 times increase in Bandwidth consumption. So, I did some research and I found out that 81% of the bandwidth were eaten up by the new javascript files.

The problem is that due to the “bandwidth eating up” in the past 10 days, I have almost exhausted my hosting account allocated bandwidth. So, now I am considering removal of these javascript files from the header.php file of my new theme.

The javascript files are:

[LIST]

I have already removed the later 3 js files from my header.php and now I want to remove jquery-1.3.2.min.js

Please advise if the removal of javascript files will cause any trouble for my website. Or can I remove them just like that from the header.php file.
