Javascript and IE7/8

Hi,

i have added an image cropper for generating avatars for my web app. It works perfect in FF in Linux and Windows, but it doesn’t work in IE7/8, the demo works OK in both though.

For example: i would like to know if IE7/8 are loading the .js files. In FF i can check it thanks to Firebug, but in IE7/8, how can i know it ??

Im stuck with the IE7/8 issue.. any advise? any idea? I have just arrived in the Javascript world..

Regards

Javi

@Gozzy82Feb 24.2010 — if you paste a link to the page which is not working it helps debugging, guessing why it doesnt work in ie7/8 is not really productive ?

edit

the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar can help you debug in IE: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=e59c3964-672d-4511-bb3e-2d5e1db91038&displaylang=en

the developer tools included in IE8 are far more useful than the toolbar. it has almost as much stuff as firebug, just with less usability.

@sunsh1neMar 02.2010 — For what it's worth, I fired up the page in IE8 which did infact load up cropper.js.

So can you see the cropper of my web app using IE8 ??

@sunsh1neMar 03.2010 — Yes.

But if you just want to test it you can always try putting some code in that .js file which you know works in IE7/8, maybe an alert or something.
