jquery doesn’t work on div replacement

I have made a similar friend suggestion script as on facebook for a site. It works by replacing a div content when it is clicked on. The script works and replaces the div content but the second time the content is not replaced because the jquery is not triggered. Is there any way I could make jquery work the second time? thank you
