Padding/Margin Issue

Hey guys, ok i have a css issue that after looking at the style sheet about 100 times i still cant see whats going wrong.

the site is http://www.juicingforum.co.uk

i would like for the bottom of all content to have a say 5-10px margin above the footer so that the content doesnt directly hit the bottom. Ive tried applying padding or margin to loads of different ID’s but no joy.

Anyhelp is appreciated as always.
Cheers

@skywalker2208Feb 07.2010 — Try clear both your divs inside the "<div id="contentcontain">".
<div id="contentcontain">
<div id="leftbar">
</div>
<div id="content">
</div>
Clear your div here
</div>
<div id="footer"></div>
@johndoe190authorFeb 07.2010 — cheers skywalker i will try that.

aye cfajohnson someone said the menu falls down for some, any idea how id go about fixing that? As on mozilla, IE etc the menu has more than enough space, what browser are you using it seems to increase teh text size.

thanks again.

@Eye_for_VideoFeb 07.2010 — On my machine viewing in IE7, there is about a 6 to 8 pixel twitch of the entire Quick Links, Latest Article, and the footer section on rollover of the Quick Links images. Very annoying to see that entire section of the page twitch up and down. See attached photo. Compare the space between Google ad and footer.

FF and Safari work fine.

Best wishes,

The browser is irrelevant.

No matter which browser I use, the font size will be set large enough

for me to read.

Browsers automatically adjust a page to fit whatever size one wants --

unless the page is coded to prevent it, as you (and many thousand

others) have done.

The problem is usually caused by specifiying something (e.g., the

height of an element) unnecessarily, or by trying to treat a web page

as a piece of paper.
