Full Screen Viewing?

Hi,

Is there a javascript function that swiches a browser into full screen mode? I’ve had a little look in the mozilla DOM reference but can’t see anything. Maybe I’m looking at the wrong bit? I’m sure I’ve seen sites that do this though.

Any ideas? Or is there another way other than javascript for doing this?

is there no way of resizing the current window to full screen?

I don't really want a new window, it seems silly that there isn't a way of doing it.
