Can PHP do speech recognition ??

Hi,

I know even if possible such will need support of third party speech recognition engines..

Anyway, if any of you aware about a possible use of PHP to speech recognition please let me know.

My requirement is not for voice commands, it is for converting audio (*.mp3,*.wav) files to text/word files..

Even an usable alternative would help me greatly.

Well how about trying the CSpeechRecognitionUtility or the CDevASR api for the same..atleast the Nokia documents claim that those can be used for low quality speech recognition..worth a try i feel.
