I’m not very good with regular expressions.

How can I check if the url of a page has ‘this’ id?

So I have:
$url = $_SERVER[“REQUEST_URI”];
Which gets the current URL, and prints out:

/index.php?id=6581&L=0&ADMCMD_view=1&ADMCMD_editIcons=1&ADMCMD_previewWS=Array

How can I check if $url == ‘/index.php?id=6581’? and ignore the remaining parameters?

Or if its easier to remove whatever is after the last 4 digits and save it to a variable which can say if($url == $current)

@MindzaiJan 27.2010 — Do you only care about the value of id? If so:
if ($_GET['id'] == 1234) {
// id is 1234
}
Otherwise I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to achieve.
