Need a image to stretch across regardless of monitor size

I have this image I’d like to use at the top of my page and I’d like it to fit any screen size. I haven’t really started coding much so I’ll show you what I got as well as a screen shot of how it apperars right now.

@skywalker2208Jan 20.2010 — Why not just use the img tag because it looks like the header image is a set width and not something you can repeat? I don't think you can use the background css tag to be the full screen unless you use repeat. Take a look at
