Facebook Fanbox Placement

For some reason it looks ok in quite a few browsers including IE 6 and 8 but it goes crazy in IE 7 and a few others where I’m guessing the background is shifting right making the main content to appear to the left…and my facebook fan box is blown out to the right. It’s a pretty basic layout so I’m not sure where I went wrong. Can anyone help?

@CraigooooauthorJan 17.2010 — I actually have placed the fanbox on a page with nothing on it and ran the validator and it's coming up with 6 errors that I'm not real sure how to resovle (even after reading the validation messages).
