[RESOLVED] Inset Border

Is there a way to set the border to the inside edge of an element and not on the outside?

here is a "slice" of the right side of an element:

[INNER][PADDING][BORDER][MARGIN]


what you do with padding and margin determines where the border is in relation to the overall size of the element.

@rnd_meJan 14.2010 — some browsers will let you set a negative offset for outline, which you could use to paint a "border" inside of the actual border wall.
