More Layout questions (cross browser compatible)

So I struggled with this website.. the initial design/concept was not mine, but now i have to clean it up and recode it but also maintain the same design..

Anyways.. I am pretty darn close to there, but there is a problem with it being cross browser compatible. It looks ok in the most recent versions of all of the commonly used browsers, but the problem lies with IE6 (and below), and Safari and Netscape.

I dont usually build to lowest versions of IE, but i really want Safari to work minimally. So I can NOT figure out why these are not displaying properly.. The weird thing is that everything is aligned right, and the main content area (with the slideshow and tabs) are getting pushed to the LEFT and getting cut off!

So I would REALLY appreciate it if maybe someone can have a look using firebug?? I really am at a loss as to why this is happening.
