position of second background at bottom page

i am trying to find a way to put second background ong the page but position of background at 300px above from the bottom of page…

so how? for example
* {margin:0; padding:0;}
html {
margin:0;
padding:0;
background: url(images/border_top.png) repeat-x left top;
}
body {
margin:0;
padding:0;
background: url(images/border_bottom.png) repeat-x left bottom;
background-position: bottom;
}
as far as i know that its possible to position of first background into any position such as background-position: left 50px; …

so what about bottom?

@FangDec 15.2009 — It is possible, but all pre IE8 browsers do not apply the rules correctly.

The best way is to add a transparent area of 300px to the bottom of the image.

@k_pcDec 17.2009 — hi there!

i know you've posted it as an example, but i thought it is prohibited to add styles to the html tag?
