AutoCompleteSaveForm in Firefox

Hi,

I want to know if there is a javascript method like AutoCompleteSaveForm that works in Firefox. I need to save the form data when I click a button without doing a submit. AutoCompleteSaveForm works OK in IE but it does not in Firefox.

@slaughtersDec 07.2009 — #This is supported only in IE and only if Autocomplete windows are enable in Internet Explorer (Tools / Internet Options / Content / Autocomplete - Settings)

You may be able to do something with DOM storage: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/DOM/Storage
