IE8 doesnt render a page

Hello guys,

I just made a page and it renders ok in FF and IE 6,7 but not in IE8.
It appears a warning saying “this.0.offsetParent” is null or not an object” and it refers to a jquery plugin. When I delete all the javascripts I get a blanck page without errors.
I used <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=EmulateIE7″ />
and still it didnt work.

@mityaDec 06.2009 — The most common reason for this is the developer is calling offsetParent on an element with 'fixed' position.

@Kyler_IE8_TeamDec 15.2009 — If you are having trouble running sites in IE8 that worked in IE7 I strongly recomend 'Compatibility Mode' which lets you search pages that aren't up to speed with IE8 technology. This link is helpful in explaining how it works.

@subharbauthorDec 15.2009 — Thanks, but what was breaking my page was the google analytics code.

Somehow, when I pasted the GA script most of the page wasnt viewable and the part that was viewvable appeared totally in a wrong place.

I solved it putting the code in an external script.
