I have the ID of an element and I would like to know which position does it occupies in a list, I mean:

[INDENT]

</li>
[/INDENT]
</ul>
[/INDENT]

</li>
[/INDENT]

Let’s say I have $(‘#1-1’), how can I get to know that this is a $(‘ul li ul li’)??
