md5 password system

How to change password to md5 when login and how to encode them to real password?

@NogDogNov 02.2009 — Not really sure what you are asking, but see [url=http://www.php.net/md5]md5[/url](). For better security, consider using [url=http://php.net/sha1]sha1[/url]() or one of the even more modern hashing algorithms. In either case, note that these are both "one-way" hashes; they are [i]not[/i] two-way encryption/decryption and are not intended to be reversed (i.e., determine the original un-hashed password from a hash).
