create a window with button using "window.open" method

Hi,

I was wondering if I can create a new window with a button in it using “window.open” method, i.e., when clicking the button in the new window, a function in the main javascript file should be called.

//main.js
function incomingCallRecvd(evt)
{
// open a window with a button
window.open(‘ ‘,”mywindow”,”menubar=no,width=430,height=360);

// if the button inside mywindow clicked
doSomthing();

}
