Cron Jobs

Hello everyone. ^_^ I’m creating an RPG, and I have some Cron Jobs I need installed on the server. One runs every minute, another every 5, another every hour, and another every day. I’m wondering, first of all, if there is a free host out there that can offer me these things, or, preferably, if there is an alternative to cron jobs that would get this done for me.
