Hi! I’m having issues with posting to my FTP site. I’ve done lots of google-ing, but haven’t found an answer yet.
The computer that’s having the problem is a Mac OS 10.4.11 – the issue occurs with Dreamweaver Mx, Dreamweaver CS4 AND Fetch.
I have my ftp remote server set up (using passive ftp) in Dreamweaver, and when I click ‘test’ it successfully connects to the server. But when I try to post something, it starts out fine, then I get ‘waiting for server’, and eventually it times out without finishing the post.
The same thing happens with Fetch – it will start an upload, and then freeze and time out.
I know it’s not a server issue, because I have another computer on the same network (running OS 10.3.9 and Dreamweaver MX) that works great. When I post something it stays connected and uploads everything in one shot.
The settings are exactly the same on both computers – the only thing I can think of is that this is an ftp issue with the OS. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
