Im using the script from [URL=”http://www.position-absolute.com/articles/jquery-fade-and-slide-toggle-plugin/”]here[URL=”http://www.position-relative.net/creation/fadeslider/”]here
I dont know javascript at all.. but ive been tryin to figure this out for about 2 hrs now..
[CODE]
$(document).ready(function() {
$(“.fadeNext”).click(function(){
$(this).next().fadesliderToggle()
return false;
})
})
heres the external JS file
[CODE]jQuery.fn.fadeSliderToggle = function(settings) {
/* Damn you jQuery opacity:’toggle’ that dosen’t work!~!!!*/
settings = jQuery.extend({
speed:1500,
easing : “swing”
}, settings)
caller = this
if($(caller).css(“display”) == “none”){
$(caller).animate({
opacity: 1,
height: ‘toggle’
}, settings.speed, settings.easing);
}else{
$(caller).animate({
opacity: 0,
height: ‘toggle’
}, settings.speed, settings.easing);
}
};
from what I under stand its telling the caller (this) to toggle the slide on the “next” div or whatever u call it.. it is a toggle [B]next
