iframe question

is there a way to have an iframe not open it’s content within the iframe

for example; i have a webpage with an iframe for the footer nav. the footer nav has links going to different parts of the page but all teh content is opening within the iframe.

if there a way to open the content in the same page no “_blank” etc..

Yes.

<base target="_blank">

Put that in the header of your internal document and ALL links will open in a new window. (Demo: http://www.iframehtml.com/iframe-samples.html# at bottom of page.)

For any exceptions, simply name your iframe and target the exceptions to the iframe.
