Trouble Posting Form Data to Shopping Cart ?

Want to give a MAJOR thumbs up to user JMRKER which shared some day-saving code here this morning iny my quest for an image preview driven by a drop-down selector ?

I’ve implemented the suggestion along with some other simple JS while attempting to pass all of this my shopping cart. My Cart32 Cart uses P and T tags to collect info. ALL info is passing except the drop-down selections. I’ve used this cart for years and usually have NO trouble passing info from drop downs, text fields etc, but this just keep failing. Even asked cart tech support and it wasn’t obvious to them which seems strange since this is a common command.

I’m attaching the related JS and HTML tags that ‘should’ be passing this to my cart…P1 and T1 usually control all of this, is there confusion since name=P1 reference the JS that controls the image preview?

I'm back ......

Looking at both scripts, I don't see (visually) much of a difference.

What is the non-working image preview part that is NOT working when the 'p1' tag is passed to the cart correctly. Both appear to have the select box script for the different images. I'm tying to home in on the exact problem in the code that is working correctly that passes the 'p1' tags as you desire. Figured I would start from some working code and fix the non-working rather than the other way around.

Is there a sequence of button clicks that demonstrate the problem without submitting an order that I assume would mess up your books?

Still trying ...... ?

This is actually the product of your code and some modifications from someone else to get it to send to the cart.

Downside is, I've been told I can only have 1 form per page ? Multiple forms are possible but will take extra JS coding, PHP or etc?

The Labrador sends via p1/t1 p2/t2 and p3/t3 tags. I enthusiastically thought that increasing the sequence would send the successive breeds to the cart, not so !

If you have any ideas, I'd welcome them. Don't want you to spend too much more time on this, you've already gone above and beyond. I have consulted a coder who's stated they can do this for a fee. What do you think?

How close to requirements does it come to your needs?

It does require additions for display of the other breeds,

so make changes similar to the outlined 6 (one duplicated) breeds.

Make sure your changes work before you decide to make major modifications

as you might want to use the outlined code for reference.
