Trouble with print.CSS

I am having some trouble with my first print style sheet I’ve ever done.

First I can’t get my banner image to go away. It’s inside a div named #background which I set to display:none, yet it still appears in my print preview.

Also, I can’t get my text to left align on the page. I added the “width 100%” to several tags yet it is still displaying as if my left nav menu is there.

Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

@bzsimauthorSep 04.2009 — I was able to get the banner image to go away, but my text is still not right. It's cutting off at the right and bottom even though my margins are set to 0 and the width to 100%.

Any ideas?

@bzsimauthorSep 04.2009 — I'm desperate for an answer. I think the source is the Dreamweaver template I used for the site (I used the three column fixed with header). I even went back to Dreamweaver and tried to create a print stylesheet for the dummy template and ran into the same problem: the Main Content will not align to the left and runs off the page. It must be the way the columns are set up in the template. I zeroed all margins, width to 100%, no padding....I must be missing something. Help?!?

This is driving me nuts.
