glorified css disjointed rollovers, spice up with js?

I was playing around with a disjointed rollover concept and had pretty good results, but when i mouse off the disjointed rollover disappears (obviously). I’d like to know if there was some way I could use a little javascript to make that disjointed div remain active, even though i have moved my mouse off the div that made the disjointed one visible as it’s hover effect.

I know almost nothing about java script, cut and paste a small script is about me speed.

P.S. the hover is the size of the screen. so mouse out of the browser window to mouse off the hover. this demo is only confirmed to work in firefox 3.5.2

It'll be easy, all the main divs need to be of same class or, be contained in another div so that they can be counted incrementally with a loop

onmouseover, [B]all[/B] divs set style to something.. opacity, visibility or, innerHTML

Then, a single argument identifies which div to set the style of opacity, visibility or innerHTML

no call is made on any onmouseout

There are others whom can give you better code, hope you get hits on that new thread.

If not, reply and I'll write something,, probly tomorrow.
