I am looking to add a “Please Wait” message when a user clicks submit on our form that will display until the next page is loaded. Everything I am finding is for loading long pages the “Please Wait” is loaded at the beginning of the page. In my case I need it to display right when the user clicks submit because the server is taking time to generate the next page and having it display when the next page starts loading is useless.

Does anyone have a script that will display right when the user clicks submit and then disappear when the next page starts loading?
