I am using the ThickBox javascript library to pop up a modular window within my browser window. The contents of the modular window is in iframe. In order to close the window you can either click outside the modular window or you can click on a close button within the iframe. Both close the modular window but I have a problem that occurs if you use the button within the iframe.
If you click on any part of the iframe and close the modular window using a button or link in the iframe, I can’t click on any text field in my forms on the parent page when the modular window disappears. The text fields somehow become locked or something. However if you continue to keep clicking on the text field it will eventually be able to type in it.
It seems that once you click on the iframe it places a focus on that iframe and when you proceed to close the modular window from within the iframe the focus gets lost in the browser.
This only happens in IE. ?
