Google showing strange description …

Hi,

I just recently finished a site and have done a lot of search engine optimization but just noticed that when it shows up in the organic listing in google, the description text is nothing that is on the front page (shows up fine in Yahoo) – I have done all the meta tags and carefully written the text and the cached version shows the meta description so I am stumped as to where this is coming from, you can look at if you put in:

Artful Lodger Newport RI

Below the link it says: Victorian facility; includes information about house, rates, and area. (this text is no where on my home page).

I have set the site up in Google tools etc … and resubmitted it to Google after I finished it. Any ideas?

Thanks!

@jmarshallauthorAug 15.2009 — Ahhh, thank you!! I just searched it on DMOZ and that is what is showing ... I have never had that happen before. I will check out the NOODP tag and implement it, thank you so much :-)

In case if you haven't found the tag ;

<meta name=”robots” content=”noodp”>
