New Window in IE7

Hi,

I am currently trying this in [B]IE7[/B].
I am using this piece of code.

<a target=_top href=””http://www.google.com“” title=””Google””>Clickhere</a>

This opens the url in the same page itself. I want the Google page to open in a new window.

I tried with ‘blank’ and ‘new’ TARGET attributes. But it’s not working.
Can you please provide me with a solution that is supported in [B]Internet Explorer 7[/B]

If the OP means that a new tab is acceptable, all is well. Otherwise I think I'd go for javascript, if a new window really is needed. Personally, I try to avoid requiring a new window (or tab).
