PHP Read Excel

Hi

I was wondering if there is anyway I can make PHP read an existing formatted excel sheet and start writing data from any rows of our choice?

Please take a look into the screenshot below to see what I am talking about.

@NogDogAug 03.2009 — If feasible, you'll probably find it much easier if you save the Excel file as a CSV file, which you can then parse via fgetcsv().

Alternatively, if running on a Windows server, you could install the ODBC Excel driver and treat the Excel file as if it were a database. (I've never done this and may be a little fuzzy on the nomenclature, but I know others have.)

http://code.google.com/p/php-excel-reader/ may have the php code you need.
