2 domains 1 account – 1and1

I can’t seem to get my new domain to appear as it should.

I’m hosting with 1and1 and they have a domain forwarding option but when I use that no deep-links show. e.g. [url]www.love-rugs.com[/url] works but any sub-page still displays as [url]www.love-rugs.com[/url] rather than say [url]www.love-rugs.com/about.html[/url]

I’ve got it so when I type [url]www.love-rugs.com[/url] into the browser it takes me to the page but then changes the visible url to its position on my account (it’s a folder in the top directory of my original site/account):

[url]http://www.little-persia.com/love-rugs[/url]

How do I go about making it a stand-alone website? Any mod-rewrite/301 redirect I’ve tried hasn’t worked so far… not sure if I’m doing it right.
