I’m trying to find a pre-written script or other widget to embed a Flickr slideshow (set or group) in an HTML page.
The best option so far has been flickrshow (site [URL=”http://www.flickrshow.com/”]here
a) very little configurability – I can’t get it to display the image creator’s name – just the title;
b) causes flickering in suckerfish dropdown menus in Windows IE when they’re part of the same page;
c) code is indecipherable – must be processed with some kind of compressor – so it’s impossible to modify;
d) author hasn’t (so far) responded to emails inquiring about a, b, c.
Unfortunately the default Flickr embeddable slideshows contain too much chrome – we need something that we can strip down to just the image, next/back buttons and a play/pause button – like Flickrshow.
Anyone have a lead on
a) another option that is more configurable, or that allows me to see the actual javascript
b) some way to decode the indecipherable (to me anyway) code that is Flickrshow ([URL=”http://v6.flickrshow.com/scripts/with”]here
?
Thanks!
