[RESOLVED] Script problme in IE only …

I have a script located at: [url]http://www.nova.edu/hpd/otm/cl/SpecMag.html[/url]
I have validated the HTML and get no errors.

I have tested and run it successfully in FF (PC and iMac versions) and Safari (on iMac)
I get no errors and calculations appear as designed. ?

However, when I click on the ‘Calculation’ button using MSIE, I get nothing. 😮
No errors, no change to the display, no warnings, no nothing!

Any ideas I might try to make this run in MSIE? ?

That did the trick. I don't know how you remembered that function, but I am obliged.

I have never heard of nor used the MSIE 'recalc()' function, at least to my knowledge. :eek:

Is there a way to find out what other specifically reserved function names should not be used in MSIE?


Some list somewhere? ?

I must assume that browsers other than MSIE do not use this function as there does not seem to be a conflict.

Anyway, thank you. You saved me a bunch of review and recoding. ?
