Username Cookie – Textbox, Display & Delete

Hey,

I need help for one of my projects and I’m a newbie in Javascript: I am making a website with a chat, forum… and I think it would better if the people had the possibility to input their name in a textbox and then it would save it in a cookie. It’s like [URL=”http://javascript.internet.com/cookies/n-browser.html”]this[/URL] script but with a textbox instead of a prompt. I would also like to know how to make it so that when the user closes the browser it deletes the cookie, and ONLY then.
