LightBox Popup window

I am using Lightbox pop up window.

I have a order form when I click on Search customer Lightbox popup window open and I search. I want when i click on any customer name values should goes to the parent screen.

for that I am using window.opener but getting message

windows.opener is null

Any help .?

On click I m trying to send value from pop screen to the parent window using window.opener method but it does not work.
