phpMailer_v2.3class problem

Hi everyone,
weird sudden development; I’ve been using php_Mailer_v2.3 for several of my
client’s email and it works great. I’m setting it up for another website and I’m
now getting the following parse error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home/.nitty/sig4819/captsigerson.com/adjust/p_mailer/phpMailer_v2.3/class.phpmailer.php on line 45

I’ve opened the other instances where I’ve used it before and I can find no anormalities comparing the code from websites(where it works fine) to the
current one that gives me this error.

Any ideas?

Sig

@NogDogJun 24.2009 — Any difference in which PHP versions are being run on the different sites? It sort of sounds like it might be a case of PHP5 class definition code being executed on a PHP4 server.

@captsigauthorJun 25.2009 — The phpmailer folder was copied from a working clients file and the parameters changed for the new client's mail settings. Both clients are on

BlueHost.com so it wouldn't seem to be a php version issue.

I thought about re-downloading the phpMailer from Sourceforge or going to

some other mail - form program. Any suggestions. I know javascript has a script for this. I thought it looked crappy.

Anyway,

Thanks for responding.
